The Highest Academic Title of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Solemnly Conferred upon K.Kh. Abdurakhmanov!
On May 5, 2026, a solemn ceremony was held at the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, dedicated to conferring the highest academic title of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan upon Kalandar Khodjayevich Abdurakhmanov, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, and Professor.
The event was attended by Nasreddin Ismatullo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan; Shamansur Sa’dullayev, First Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; Asror Norov, Director of the Innovative Development Agency; Tulkin Teshabayev, Rector of TSUE; as well as heads of several higher education institutions, government agencies, and organizations.
At the solemn meeting, the Ambassador read out the resolution of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. It was noted that K.Kh. Abdurakhmanov’s long-standing scientific activity, his merits in strengthening international scientific ties, supporting joint research, and expanding Uzbek-Tajik scientific cooperation served as a worthy basis for this high recognition.
As emphasized during the ceremony, this recognition is of great importance not only for the scientist's personal academic biography but also for elevating scientific diplomacy and academic dialogue between the two nations to a new level. Furthermore, K.Kh.
