THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE BALANCE BETWEEN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM AND THE LABOR MARKET

Abstract

This article examines the theoretical foundations of ensuring alignment between the education system and the labor market. It highlights the role of the education system in preparing specialists who meet labor market requirements and examines the factors influencing the formation of labor supply and demand, as well as the economic relationship between education and employment. Based on the theories of human capital, labor markets, the economics of education, and the competency-based approach, the study analyzes the main causes of the mismatch between educational content and employers’ requirements.
