Abstract
This article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of assessing and improving the multiplier effects of automotive enterprises on the national economy under competitive conditions. Using a systematic approach, the study analyzes the impact of the automotive industry on intersectoral cooperation, investment, employment, exports, and production localization. The theoretical foundations of applying the macroeconomic investment multiplier, open-economy multiplier, Leontief input-output model, employment and export multipliers, as well as the localization coefficient, are discussed. The study substantiates the chain effects of investment in the automotive industry on production output, household income, and employment, while emphasizing the role of deeper localization in strengthening multiplier effects. The analysis identifies key factors limiting the effectiveness of the automotive industry's multiplier impact, including dependence on imported high-tech components and electronic parts, insufficient innovation activity and R&D expenditure, limited diversification of export markets, and underdeveloped service and financial infrastructure. Keywords
