Abstract
The article examines the organizational and economic approaches to managing the development of agritourism at the regional level. The main models of state management in the tourism sector, as well as the experience of developing rural and agritourism in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, and China, are considered. The main elements of foreign models of practical importance for the regions of Uzbekistan are identified: state coordination, territorial specialization, diversification of the tourism product, infrastructure development, regional brand promotion, local population participation, and state-business interaction. Based on comparative analysis, a multi-level organizational and economic model for managing agritourism development in the regions of Uzbekistan, including state, regional, and local levels, is proposed. Keywords
