DEVELOPMENT STATUS OF THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES SECTOR OF UZBEKISTAN: ANALYSIS FOR 2017-2024

Abstract

The article comprehensively analyzes the development of Uzbekistan’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector during 2017-2024. Based on official statistical data, the dynamics of the ICT sector’s key indicators were analyzed. Historical trend analysis (CAGR method) showed different development rates in 2017-2020 and 2021-2024 periods. Main sector challenges were identified: talent shortage, limited digital infrastructure, difficulties in entering international markets. Research results confirmed the sector’s rapid development and effectiveness of government support.
