Abstract

This article investigates the genesis and specific features of managing the higher education system. The primary aim of the article is a deep analysis of the system's historical development and contemporary characteristics. This topic is exceptionally relevant in the context of enhancing the quality of education and integrating with international standards. Using historical-comparative and systemic approaches, the author compares the experience of Uzbekistan with foreign practices. The study particularly emphasizes the balance between state control and academic autonomy. The conclusion puts forward practical proposals for improving higher education management mechanisms. Ultimately, the article demonstrates that effective management fosters innovation and the development of a competitive workforce.
