Abstract

This article analyzes approaches to identifying structural components of state economic security from a theoretical and practical perspective. For a comprehensive assessment of economic security, components consisting of such main blocks as macroeconomic stability, financial soundness, stability of foreign economic relations, investment and innovation potential, labor market and social indicators are proposed. The study comparatively studies international experiences (IMF, OECD, UNCTAD) and national conditions in identifying these components. As a result, the need to develop a system of multi-level indicators for monitoring state economic security, integrate them into a single index and apply them to the decision-making process is substantiated. This approach is of great importance in early identification of risks and threats in the economic policy of Uzbekistan, formation of a sustainable development strategy and reduction of regional disparities.
