THE ROLE OF HUMAN CAPITAL IN ENSURING THE STABILITY OF POPULATION INCOMES IN REGIONS
Abstract
This article theoretically and practically investigates the role of human capital in ensuring the stability of population incomes across regions. The study analyzes the impact of the core components of human capital – education, healthcare, professional qualifications, labor productivity, and digital competencies – on the formation of population incomes. Furthermore, the dynamics of change in per capita real total incomes and the evolution of the Gini index representing income inequality across the regions of Uzbekistan during 2020–2025 are examined. The research findings revealed significant disparities in income levels between regions. Concurrently, it was identified that in regions with a higher level of human capital development, population incomes are also formed at a higher level.References
