PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM SECTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
Abstract
The article explores the issues of developing the tourism sector under the conditions of digital transformation. The rapid development of digital technologies in the global economy has significantly influenced the structural and functional changes in the 163 tourism industry. The study analyzes the opportunities emerging in the tourism sector as a result of applying Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), blockchain technologies, and digital platforms. Furthermore, the scientific views of foreign and local scholars have been studied, and the main directions of tourism digitalization have been identified.References
