    Basic requirements for submitted scientific articles:

    The topic of the article submitted by the author must correspond to one of the directions listed in the “Journal Categories” section of the Electronic Scientific Journal “Labor Economics and Human Capital.”

    Articles are expected to take the form of empirical research, case studies, literature reviews and commentaries, meta-analyses, theoretical or practical studies, methodological developments, professional reviews, or similar academic contributions.

    Each article must comply with international requirements (IMRaD structure) and include the following specific sections:

    Article Title
    The title should be as short and clear as possible and must accurately reflect the research focus of the article.

    Author Information
    This section should include the author’s full name (with patronymic), place of work and position, academic degree and title, email address, and contact phone numbers.

    Abstract
    The abstract should not exceed 200 words and must briefly present the overall content of the article. It should cover the research problem, its relevance, the methodology used, the main results, and a short description of the author’s scientific and practical contribution. The abstract must be provided in Uzbek, Russian, and English.

    Keywords
    Keywords should concisely reflect the content and purpose of the article. To improve discoverability in search engines (e.g., scholar.google.com, google.com), each keyword is recommended to appear in the main text approximately 5–10 times. Keywords must be provided in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
  • Introduction
    The introduction section primarily highlights the research problem, its objectives, and tasks. This part explains the rationale for choosing the research topic, its relevance, and scientific significance. In addition, the introduction provides a brief description of the research object. It also briefly outlines the content of the subsequent sections.
  • Literature Review
    The literature review section demonstrates the author’s knowledge and understanding of the problem under study. It serves to assess the existing intellectual landscape and create a conceptual map of the field. Critical analysis of the literature helps to strengthen knowledge within the research topic and clarify the research questions.
    The analysis of the literature is generally carried out on the basis of the most recent journal articles and other sources of information in the field (relevant articles can be found using keywords in the search engine www.scholar.google.com).
  • Research Methodology
    The research methodology is one of the most important parts of the study, as it represents the overall map of the research, the path of inquiry, and the roadmap leading to the results. Methodology includes defining the research philosophy and approach (deductive or inductive), designing the research plan to solve the research problem, identifying ways of obtaining the necessary data, and setting ethical standards. It also involves decisions on sampling, the use of primary or secondary data sources, and the selection of the research strategy (observation, experiment, case study, survey, ethnographic or archival research, etc.).
    The quality of the methodology section is reflected in its ability to justify the reliability and validity of the chosen research path.
  • Analysis and Results
    The analysis section of the research processes the data collected using the analytical methods predetermined in the research methodology (mathematical models and others). Only the results of the applied methods are presented here; the discussion of these results is the task of the following section of the article.
  • Discussion
    The discussion section involves interpreting the results of the analysis by comparing them with the findings and conclusions of the literature review, as well as adding personal reflections. In short, this part explains and interprets the research results.
  • Conclusion and Recommendations
    The conclusion and recommendations section summarizes whether the research objectives and tasks have been achieved and whether the research questions have been answered. It highlights the main findings of the study, provides general conclusions about the overall research process, and presents proposals and recommendations. In addition, it may suggest possible directions for future research arising from the present study.
  • References
    This part lists all the sources used in the research. All references cited in the article should be presented here in alphabetical order, following the Harvard style requirements:
    - Author(s) full name, (year), Book Title, place of publication (e.g., Russia, Uzbekistan, etc.), publisher;
    - Author(s) full name, (year), Article Title, journal name, volume, issue, pages.
    In addition to the above, authors may include appendices (Appendix) and acknowledgments (Acknowledgement) if necessary.

    Formatting Requirements
    1. The article text should be written in Times New Roman, font size 14, with single line spacing. Page margins (top, bottom, left, right) must be 2 cm. While there is no maximum length limit, the minimum recommended length is 4–6 pages. The number of references must be at least 10–15 sources, as this is an essential criterion of article quality.
    2. Table titles should be placed above the tables, while figure or diagram captions should be placed below. Including relevant tables, diagrams, and figures significantly improves the quality of the article.
    3. Sources of tables, diagrams, and figures must be cited at the bottom of the same page using footnotes in Harvard style.
    4. In-text citations must follow Harvard style:
    - For a single-author article: (Surname, year), e.g., (Ahmedov, 2019);
    - For two authors: (Surname and Surname, year), e.g., (Ahmedov and Sobirov, 2019);
    - For three or more authors: (Surname et al., year), e.g., (Ahmedov et al., 2019);
    - For multiple separate references: (Surname, year; Surname, year … in alphabetical order), e.g., (Ahmedov, 2019; Sobirov, 2018; …).
    5. Articles may be submitted in Uzbek, Russian, or English.
  • Articles that do not meet the above requirements will not be considered by the editorial board.
