At the Tashkent State University of Economics, within the framework of the fundamental project "Methodology for Assessing the Level of Poverty Based on the Increase in Productive Employment of the Population," a round table discussion on the topic "Assessment of Poverty Based on the Level of Productive Employment of the Population" also took place.

The founder and head of the scientific school at Tashkent State University of Economics "Labor Economics and Human Capital" is academician K.H. Abdurakhmanov, the rector of the university is Professor T.Z. Teshabaev, the vice-rector for scientific work and innovations is Professor G.K. Abdurakhmanova. A foreign expert, a professor from the Technological University MARA of Malaysia, was present at the event.

Also, Rohana Nga and participants of the fundamental project titled "Methodology for Assessing the Level of Poverty Based on the Increase in Productive Employment of the Population" attended the event. The event also examines the scientific-theoretical foundations of productive employment to reduce poverty levels in the country. Comprehensive study of productive and productive employment and its deficit, development and implementation of scientific-methodological foundations for calculating productive employment in Uzbekistan are required. It is emphasized that the development of scientific-practical proposals and recommendations is a relevant task.

In addition, the head of the scientific school at Tashkent State University of Economics "Labor Economics and Human Capital," academician K.H. Abdurakhmanov, and the rector of Tashkent State University of Economics, Professor T.Z. Teshabaev, donated 10 books "Artificial Intelligence - Basis for Sustainable Development," published by Abdurakhmanov, to the university library.

Professor of the Technological University MARA, Dr. Rohana Nga, provided detailed information on Malaysia's experience in reducing poverty, the level of poverty in Malaysia before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the measures currently being taken by the government to reduce poverty in the country and prospective government programs.

As a result of the discussion, it was decided to jointly find scientific solutions to the issues awaiting resolution within the framework of the fundamental project and to conduct more extensive research in the future.
