Ushbu maqolada demografik o‘zgarishlarning gender tengligini ta’minlashdagi o‘rni va ahamiyati ilmiy asosda tahlil qilingan. Aholining yosh va jinsiy tarkibidagi o‘zgarishlar, tug‘ilish koeffitsiyenti va ayollarning mehnat bozoridagi faolligi o‘rtasidagi o‘zaro bog‘liqlik empirik ma’lumotlar asosida ko‘rsatib berilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari shuni ko‘rsatadiki, O‘zbekistonda demografik bosimning kamayishi va ayollar ta’lim darajasining oshishi ularning iqtisodiy va ijtimoiy faolligini kuchaytirgan. Shu bilan birga, gender tafovutlar hali ham ayrim sohalarda, xususan, ish haqi, rahbarlik lavozimlari va tadbirkorlikda saqlanib qolmoqda. Maqolada demografik siyosatni gender strategiyasi bilan uyg‘unlashtirish, ayollar mehnat imkoniyatlarini kengaytirish va erkaklar ishtirokini oilaviy siyosatga integratsiyalash zarurligi asoslab berilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari O‘zbekistonda gender tenglikni mustahkamlash va inson kapitalining sifatini oshirishga qaratilgan qarorlarni ishlab chiqishda muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi.
