Ushbu maqolada ekologik barqaror transport tizimlarini rivojlantirishning nazariy asoslari va amaliy mexanizmlari tadqiq etiladi. Transport infratuzilmasi investitsiyalarining mintaqaviy iqtisodiy rivojlanishga ta'siri, kengroq iqtisodiy va fazoviy oqibatlar (WEIs va WSIs), shuningdek, barqaror transport siyosatini shakllantirish bo‘yicha xalqaro tajribalar tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda xarajat-foyda tahlili (CBA), ko‘p mezonli tahlil (MCA), yetkazib berish imkoniyati modellari, ekonometrik baholash usullari va umumiy muvozanat modellari (CGE/SCGE) kabi zamonaviy metodologiyalardan foydalanilgan. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatdiki, barqaror transport tizimlarini rivojlantirish uchun ekologik, iqtisodiy va ijtimoiy omillarni kompleks hisobga olish zarur bo‘lib, bu O‘zbekiston sharoitida, xususan, Xorazm viloyati misolida alohida ahamiyat kasb etadi.
